Vintage Vinyl


In 2012 NiC.NaC.DesignZ had the privilege to collaborate with an extremely talented Chicago poetic songstress, providing accessories for the album cover shoot, a vintaged era simplicity was the look executed to compliment the overall feel for the release of her debut album "Dirty Red Vinyl".

Critically noted a lyrically gifted songwriter, talented Spoken Word Artist, and budding vocalist, Chicago native Storie Devereaux has been known to embody the name she denotes. Using monologue style performances she takes her audiences on a theatrical journey of story telling and melodies.   Storie's music combines social issues with unique concepts, and rhythmic cadences infused with smooth soul, Rhythm & Blues, modern Jazz, poetry, all with a vintage appeal.  Storie has been described as being in a category of her own. Storie has worked collaboratively with  a number of producers, local artists as well as artists abroad contributing vocals and spoken word to various individual projects and mix-tapes.  Such contributions landed her in local R&B venues, coffee houses, jazz venues, charitable fundraisers, and a number of rallies on political and social issues sharing her music across all age and race platforms.   Storie can also be found donating her time to youth social organizations assisting young men and women who are aspire to gravitate to the Arts.  Storie continues to awe inspire and wow audiences everywhere she performs. Storie recently released her first single. A.U.T.U.M.N. from her debut album, "Dirty Red Vinyl" which is set for release late December.  Her fan base has extends for the surrounding U.S. states to Canada and the United Kingdom. Storie’s sound is unique, eclectic, melodic. She continues to spark the minds, and is sure to have the Music/Spoken Word industry buzzing. Ms. Devereaux is unquestionably an Artist with unlimited capabilities and  is definitely an artist you should know.
