Chapter II: One woman, two hands

We are told that talent creates its own opportunities. But it sometimes seems that intense desire creates not only its own opportunities, but its own talents.  My work is the only ground I've ever had to stand on. I seem to have a whole superstructure and I'm working on the foundation. A really great talent finds its happiness in execution and one aspect that seems to grasp my audience is the fact that I create AND illustrate.  

I was once told, photography has to transcend description, it has to go beyond description to bring insight into the subject, not as it looks, but how does it feel.

When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of poetry twice.
